We are really lucky we have blankets, jackets warm houses, etc. But have you ever thought about the people that came long ago, they probably didn't have those things to keep them warm.
So what made them stay here?
The early settlers were relying on fur trade to survive because they needed the fur to keep themselves warm.
The reasons why they came to Canada are:
* They were not allowed freedom of worship.
*The government had control over they way of life.
*Man were forced to serve in the army.
*There were no jobs or the jobs were low paying jobs.
*Many were poor and barely made enough to survive.
*Farmers wanted to own their own land.
*Cities were overcrowded, dirty and polluted.
Me and my family immigrated from Venezuela, a country located in south- America. It doesn't snow there so when we came here it was a pretty big change. We've been here for a year and a half now and we're still not used to it yet. The reason why we came to Canada was because we wanted to start a new peaceful life.
I think that the pioneers had a lot of courage because they immigrated from their hot lands to the Canadian cold. I admire them because they stayed here no matter what, unlike my family, we have all the things that we need but anyways my mom (sometimes) regrets coming here because of the cold weather.
but in the end its worth it!

History of the future!
i think that in a 100 years the world is going to end because of all the things that we've done to the planet like all the waste that we produce the pollution and also the global warming.
But if the world doesn't end then i think that someone is going to find cures for more diseases and i think too that they're going to make another type of thing that cars and other things can use instead of gas,so we can avoid pollution.
a 100 years from now people are going to rely more in technology and i think that all they're chores are going to be done by robots, I think too that they're probably going to find life in other planets.
